Harrington Jacket - womens
This latex Harrington Jacket is a hotter-than-hell fashion piece. When the wind blows in your face, zip it up and close the press studs collar. Features convenient pockets with press stud flaps. Inspired by the G9 jacket and the british punk & skinhead scene. Freshly adapted in striking colors.
Combine it with tight blue jeans and a poloshirt or a white top, and chucks or vans. Or tight black jeans and thick soled black boots. And always have your high heels ready in your handbag or in the storage under your scooter seat for the sophisticated sexy clash look.
Hotpants or a skirt are a match, too, of course.
Modelled by Stella le Coeur. She is 1,70m tall and is wearing our freshly designed Harrington Jackets in size L. In the photos you can see her in the navy blue and the bordeaux versions. Important to know why our navy blue is so chic: It has a tiny tiny violet tint.
Chlorinated latex. The navy blue jacket has the silky shine of the chlorinated latex. The bordeaux red Harrington in the other photos has more gloss to it. We wiped it with a few drops of silicone oil latex shiner in order for you to get a feel for what chlorinated latex is gonna look like with a little silicone oil polish.
„I've been intrigued by latex as a garment material for clothing for quite some time. It can create a stretched surface but it can also flow warmly. Its deep colors and smooth surface give the designs a unique plasticity and flatter your body.
I have long been tickled by the challenge of making everyday key-pieces out of a material that is more commonly associated with the fetish scene.
For me, the suspense arises between the natural, biodegradable material in its comic-like presence on the one side and timeless designs on the other side."

The TARZA & JANE Style
The blend of latex and classic, rather conservative cuts for everyday life fascinates and inspires us. It puts a completely new spotlight on this material.
We are currently working with designer & model Mona Steinhäußer so we can offer her chic leather harnesses here in the store in the near furture. By the way, Mona recycles leather sofas for her harnesses. Just right!
